There are many good physicians, and sometimes the best may not be available to us, either because of location or finances. But we all have access to THE GREAT PHYSICIAN, Almighty God, he is Jehovah-Rapha. Reach out to him, he is always listening.

If you are unsure what to say to him, speak from your heart. If you still want some more structured, I came across this wonderful site, that dealt with the healing power of prayer. Many prayers can be found in them.

I realize that there is no substitute when it comes to going to a live daily mass, especially on weekends. However sometimes we might have missed it, and still want to get the message that would have been passed on. After looking a bit online, I found one that appealed to me.

The year of mercy

So often we find it hard to forgive, 

Yet the Lord our God has forgiven us so many times, and continues to do so when we genuinely ask. 

It makes us understand that if he can forgive our transgressions then who are we not to forgive others. Today let peace come into us and let us forgive those that trespass against us (however difficult it might be). 

EWTN App

I was looking for a good audio recording of the bible, or a bible app that I can load on my phone. There are many! But became especially fond of the EWTN App? There is a nice menu, and easy to navigate interface.

The Audio recording was well done.
Overall a Great App for your phone or tablet.

Mass Intensions

I have never done a mass intention before, but I thought it was very appropriate in the current situation I find myself in. Mass intention can be done for many things which includes the living and the dead. 

Mass intentions can often be a better gift to an individual on his/her birthday than a card. There is no cost to it, however I have read that sometimes a stipend can be given. I don't know how valid that is. 

Yesterday was the first time my husband sent in Mass intentions, and the procedure was fairly simple, he called the church during office hours, and gave them all the information which consisted of the name of the person and the reason for the intention.

Looking for a place of worship in Trinidad and Tobago

I found it difficult to find information about churches in Trinidad and Tobago. I usually drove around and visit the churches and snapped a picture of their times. So I decided to create this blog to cover all the churches in the country regardless of denomination. I hope it helps you as much as it will help me.
